We kinda suck at Rock Band. . .but had fun trying*

Saturday evening we had the opportunity to play Rock Band with Colleen and Ben at their lovely house in Lakewood, which was soo much fun. However, a little more challenging than we preferred ;) My favorite was performing "Maps" where I was on vocals -- and, I think Jose at least looked like he knew what he was doing on guitar!

Here is a sampling of a few of the songs we (attempted) to play:

[Mp3] Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps (Acoustic)
[Mp3] Joy Zipper - Wave of Mutilation (Pixies Cover)
[Mp3] Radiohead - Creep (Acoustic)

Later that evening we walked over to Beer Engine and enjoyed a couple beers (and french fries!) out on their patio. We used to go to The Buckeye Brewing Company back when they were located on Miles Road and are happy to see them doing well over on the West Side now.

ps - Special thanks to Colleen for the delicious dinner and to Ben for providing the superb tunes*

The karaoke part of Rock Band is ridiculous fun once I've drank away my self-respect...

Seems like Beer Engine has some good stuff on tap right now...I really should get there more often.

Hey dude and dudette - I must applaud your choice of Buckeye Beer Engine.

LOVE it!

I'm not so much into Rock Band and that kinda stuff, but I do enjoy watching others be silly....and even enjoy being silly myself on occasion!

I love the Buckeye Beer Engine.

My friend took me one night and insisted I get the fried baloney sandwich, I went with his advice and wasn't sorry.

Great place!!

Todd - I don't think I've had that fine delicacy yet. It has caught my eye, but they have so many good things there, I haven't gotten to it yet.

Beer Engine and the Grafton are two of my favorite places in L-wood.

That first picture is priceless - you have the moody attitude of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs down pat.
