Awesome! Any idea why Passion Pit cancelled?
We saw a good band at Case last night (called Kiss Kiss). They were really good, almost in a rock opera sort of way, but when they broke into 5/8 and 7/8 it really sounded like they were trying to be \m/ HARDCORE \m/.
I didn't make it, obviously (Akron's SO FAR), but now I'm kinda glad I did, since Passion Pit was who I actually wanted to see. How was the rest of the show?
musica is AWESOME. they used to be my client when i was at scene. i hope you liked it!
Cara - Yeah, we were pretty bummed that Passion Pit cancelled and told that it was something to do with them coming off of sxsw and scheduling their upcoming European tour. . .We'll have to check out Kiss Kiss, thanks for the heads up!
Bridget - You were missed (at dinner, that is)! We encountered some "challenges" at Musica's door, only getting to hear Cut Off Your Hands (from outside, but had a good view through the window!), which were really impressive.
Alexa - What we saw of Musica, it looked like a pretty cool venue. Their employees just need to loosen up a little. . .Here's to hoping our next Musica experience will be much better than this past one!
::sigh::
